This same rule applies to shoes as well – you should wear them! Of course, this doesn’t mean you should be stepping into your heels each morning, but there are plenty of comfortable shoe options out there that are perfect for a WFH outfit.
Opt for easy and comfy slip-ons or a nice pair of slides in the summertime. If you don’t like to wear shoes inside your home, you can skip this rule too.
Dress to Boost Your Mood
Finally, keep in mind that the way you dress can have a profound impact on your mood. Try to wear colours that make you feel confident and happy.
Similarly, you don’t need to be rigid in your dress code. If you feel like you’re lacking in motivation and need a pick-me-up, go the extra mile and dress up for your workday, even if you don’t have any meetings planned. On the other hand, if you’re feeling extra tired, a pyjama day from time to time never killed anybody.
